One of my favorite colors since i was little has always been turquoise. I think it's so beautiful!
It isn't a real one though. I bought this neckalce for (i think) €3,- at Primark. I just had to have it, even though i'm a huge fan of real stones and such. I'm still on the hunt for the perfect silver ring with a big real turquoise gem. Everytime one comes by on my tumblr dashboard i just fall more in love with this beautiful color!

The necklace isn't made of crappy material what so ever. It feels sturdy and not 'light' (something a lot of jewellery have, that's why i usually don't like very cheap- and fake jewellery).
It isn't perfectly made though, buuuut.. i mean, for €3,- i can't complain. Like at all.

These are a perfect example of the types of ring i'm talking about. Aren't these bad boys just gorgeous?!
In my opinion it's a ring that will match with anything you're wearing. Not only do i like turquoise rings, but also rings with other gems. I do have to say that the turquoise stone is definitely one of my favorites! This summer my family and I are going on a holiday to Africa, so i'm hoping I can find some rings with pretty gems there.

So tell me, what is your favorite type of ring (or gem/stone?!)

This Mi Moneda necklace is definitely one of my favorite accesories. I got it from my parents and i love it. It's simple and easy to combine with outfits on a daily basis. I've had this necklace for quite sometime now and i still love it. I had a time where i 'forgot' about it, but my love for this necklace is back. I think i wear it at least two times a week.

Like i said before, it's such a simple piece. Because of this necklace being so suttle, you can wear it with sooo many outfits. I don't think it goes with everything though.. because i don't like every outfit with long necklaces. Some just look better with a short necklaces.

What i love about these necklaces is that you can customize it to your personal preferences. You can choose between silver, gold and rose gold. So for instance if you want a rose gold chain, a silver lock and silver coin. It's all up to you! isn't that amazing?!

You could also pick a silver chain, a silver lock and have the coins be different colors. This way you can change up the coins on a daily basis if you wanted to. The variety is endless.

The sizes of these locks and coins differ between: small, medium and large (this means they're also priced differently, the bigger the lock or coin, the higher the price). This also goes for the color of your necklace. They're on the pricey side, but it is 925 sterling silver, yellow gold and rose gold.

There are so many chains you can choose from, thicker- or thinner ones, short- or longer ones, etc. It all comes down to personal preference. That's what i like about these necklaces. You can personally customize one for yourself, a friend, loved one, etc.

I'll put a link HERE. I'm not quite sure if they ship world wide. I do know that they ship to (some) countries in Europe!

I'm in love with this color. I've had this nailpolish for a while now, but i haven't worn it much.
I think this is like the third time i've ever worn it, but i'm loving it!
It's such a fun color, it's kind of blue/purple-ish. I don't really know, in the bottle it looks more blue though. Don't mind my short nails, they grow pretty fast but they break so easily!

Mother nature is confused or something.. one day the sun will be out and it's super hot, but the next day it's consantly raining, clouds are grey, can you see the confusion here?!

This nail polish is from a brand called Catrice. I don't think all the countries sell this brand, some countries in europe however do. I don't think you can still get this, since it was from a limited edition collection.. it's called 'C04 - Feel the yacht beat'.

The coverage isn't too great, but add a second coat and you're good. The consistency is very good to work with, the polish goes on very smoothly without any bumps or anything like that.

I did browse the internet for some dupes. Check out Orly's 'Snowcone' It isn't the same exact color but it's close! Also, check out China Glaze's 'Bohemian Escape'. This color isn't a perfect match. It's a little bit more 'baby blue', but it's close!

Perfect little bag!

GREEN. A color that i never really liked or paid any attention to to be honest... but since my taste in the fashion has changed a lot in the past year and i'm always open for a change, i'm really beginning to start liking this gorgeous color. Especially the darker shades. I always saw so many green shades that i didn't like so i when i would see the color green i would immediately think "no."
But the truth is there are some pretty green shades!

Since the weather is getting better in Holland, i'm starting to wear more colors again, step-by-step though.. but i'm getting there! I'm really used to dark colors such as grey, black, navy blue, etc.

The sun really makes me crave the summer and some color in my wardrobe. Recently i've been loving wearing fun and bright colored accessories: bags, necklaces, bracelets, etc.

Since i'm really in need of some green in my wardrobe, i'll be definitely buying myself a pair of jeans or a cute jacket in this gorgeous color. You should too if you haven't already! If you're not feeling it, just try wearing something 'small', for instance a necklace, bag, clutch, etc.

I'm loving this outfit

Personal update:
First and foremost, let my start by apologizing for not blogging much these past weeks. I've been incredibly busy with school and my internship. I have been procrastinating like crazy! I always know that the last weeks before the summer vacation are going to be hectic. for instance with teachers bombing us with assignments, yet i don't (want to) realize this until the last weeks are here. Then there's my internship, 8.30AM - 5.00PM. Once i get home i'm always so lazy, it's crazy. I don't feel like doing anything, one of the things i usually do is go on tumblr, watch one of the MANY shows i follow (i've recently been watching a lot of O.C. and Nip Tuck). But since i'm getting off-topic here i guess this was today's post!
By the way, i got a new camera.. you guys, this can only mean one thing.. lookbooks coming soon!

Polka dots are everywhere. I've been seeing them in so many different stores. They'll definitely be making a comeback this summer. I did however see this lovely pattern in the winter time on the runways. But you know how trends work, they come and go all the time.

I personally don't own a lot of polka dotted clothes, i do like them though.
It really does depend on how you style them, because it can look kind of  'old fashioned' and a little dowdy.

I have seen some amazing maxi skirts with cool patterns, which some were.... polka dotted! Perfect for this upcoming summer, if you ask me. You can style your polka dotted clothing piece in sooo many ways!
Think of leather jackets - to give it more of an edgy look, maxi skirts combined with a muscle tee tucked in, or with a cropped top for a laid back and casual look, polka dotted trousers with a jacket, etc.

It all comes down to styling, it always does! How you style something can completely change your outfit.
I can't wait to go out and buy some polka dotted clothes, this is also a pattern that is one of the few that will always remain trendy.

Poppy Delevingne is looking fabulous with her polka dotted trousers.
