Green smoothies. I think a lot of people already know about this green drink. The first time i had ever heard of the green smoothie is by Mascha, a (very popular) Dutch beauty blogger. She wrote about it a few years ago. In LA they've been very popular for quite a while a now. Here in Holland the trend isn't as big as it is in the US, but there are still a lot of people i know who've heard about this drink.

I love drinking it. It's super healthy and delicious. You might not think that it tastes very nice.. but it really does! It's not only quite tasty, but also very beneficial for the skin, hair and overall health (they're full of antioxidants and phytonutrients). Because of these minerals, vitamins and other nutrients it will also help boost your energy level.
I've been kind of lazy with making these smoothies, but when i do make them i like to play around with different ingredients. Sometimes i'll make a red or purple smoothie (i'll put a lot of strawberries or blackberries in it).

Some benefits:
* Better looking skin
* Energy boost
* Increases fiber intake

What do i put in my green smoothie?
It's really up to you. As far as veggies you can use: Kale, Spinach, Collard Leaves, etc. You can use any type of leafy vegetable you like. And also for fruit you could use whatever you want. Bananas, blueberries, blackberries, apples, mangos, etc. The choices are endless! However, i wouldn't just throw some random things in (that's something i read on Mascha's blog. Click HERE to see her blog post about it), so maybe per smoothie have 1 type of fruit and 1 type of vegetable.

What i love about these smoothies is that it's a very easy and effective way to get your daily proportion of veggies and fruit!

So, have you ever tried a green smoothie? If so, let me know in the comments what you think!

These are just some random pictures i wanted to upload a little while ago. These pictures were taken in my garden somewhere in July, some days before my long holiday (1 month).

I had so much fun on my holiday. Family, sun, pools, palm trees, fresh smoothies & fruit, etc. Where did the time go?! Is there a 'Restart summer here'-button somewhere..? Those 4 weeks went by way too fast!
But i'm back in Holland and have my blog-modus ON, no more slacking! (i've posted some pictures on Instagram and a couple of videos on Vine! (Arwa Mukhtar, you won't be able to find me unless you put a space between my first and last name).

I hope all of you enjoyed your summer, tell me what you've been up to or where you went this summer in the comments!

JESSICA HART. She's one of my favorite models- not only is she a gorgeous model but also a blogger and a designer! She's a fresh-faced beauty, she's Australian and always knows how to look amazing. I love her style, in my eyes she's someone who can wear whatever and still look great!

Her style is very versatile. Everytime i look at pictures of her outfit i see different styles, which i love. She will be going for an egdy, rocky- or boho-look one day and the other day she'll be wearing something girly & preppy. I love how she mixes all these styles, she really rocks 'em all!

I love Clinique products! I feel that most of the time they really give me the best results. I actually don't use any other skin care products than face wash, toner, moisturizer. But sometimes my skin get's a bit dry around my eyes, especially in the winter. When i feel like i need a little bit of an extra boost, because i might look tired (dark circles) and if it's dry around my eyes, i like to use this Clinique Eye Cream. I find it's very thick and moisturizing.

If i apply it, i only do it at night- because it's kind of greasy. I like the consistency of this product it's kind of a combination of gel and cream, i don't really know how to explain it. The skin absorbs the cream good for a thick cream. I definitely recommend this product for those who are looking for a moisturizing eye cream!

Have you ever tried this product, if so what do u think? Let me know in the comments!
